Oh, say can you sing?

Flag_rose_bowl

Here's an opportunity for Bruin fans with a great set of pipes. UCLA is auditioning for somebody to sing the national anthem at the Rose Bowl before the Washington State kickoff Oct. 4. The winner gets eight tickets to the game.

Auditions are Aug. 2, and a fan vote will be held on the UCLA website to determine the winner. Click here to register.

Ummmm.... that's not the Rose Bowl in that picture

i'm signing up and i need everyone's vote!

Slippery is right.....not the Rose Bowl!

Correctamundo, it's actually Notre Dame Stadium. But UCLA was playing that day and the shot is looking into the visitor's section, so you can see a good amount of true blue (or powder blue, if you like to kick it old school). It was the best I could do on short notice (photos here have to be used with permission or via creative commons). I will be posting a reminder with another cool flag shot as we get closer.

And good luck, Josephine!

thanks Adam, I'll need it!

yeah, that is my picture, it is definitely ND stadium. Great game that day with the Irish winning in the final seconds. Go Irish!!
