More on title No. 103

UCLA's Kevin Chappell celebrates. The Bruins won the NCAA title in men's golf.

Big congrats to men's golf, which took home UCLA's second national title in the sport (the last time was in 1988). It's especially sweet for the Bruins because the win was by just a couple of strokes over Stanford and USC, which are the only two NCAA schools remotely close to UCLA in overall titles. Morgan Center now houses 103 national championship trophies, the last three coming in just the last few weeks.

The overall winner of the tournament, held at Purdue, was UCLA's Kevin Chappell (pictured). It's been quite an emotional roller coaster for Chappell. Take a look at the Daily Bruin's profile before the tournament and its coverage of the win.

You also can get more from the Golf Week story, the Associated Press report and a firsthand account of the course on Bruins Nation.
