Love a finalist for Wooden Award

Bruin freshman center Kevin Love was named as a finalist for the John R. Wooden Award, to be presented on April 11 to the nation’s top player. The other finalists for the award, which is presented by the Los Angeles Athletic Club, are D.J. Augustin of Texas, Michael Beasley of Kansas State, Stephen Curry of Davidson and Tyler Hansbrough of North Carolina.

The Wooden All-America team includes those five players, plus Derrick Rose and Chris Douglas-Roberts (both from Memphis), Brandon Rush of Kansas, Luke Harangody of Notre Dame and Tennessee's Chris Lofton.
