Collison's course: back to UCLA
UCLA point guard Darren Collison will be back in blue and gold next season. The junior announced today that he will return for his senior season and forgo the NBA draft, which many had expected him to enter.
For more, here's The Times' article by Diane Pucin.

So does this mean Pucin's original report was complete fiction? It took Love more than week to finally announce his decision, and now Collison, another week later has announcd he is staying.
Interesting.

Collison just became my favorite Bruin. I already liked him, but now I have true respect for this young player. Its easy to get caught up in the hype of playing in the NBA... I much prefer watching college basketball because of the tremendous effort they put into every possession, the will to win, the principle of team, all of which I am proud to say UCLA now represents (never mind the Lavin years). I hope he has a brilliant senior year; he will never regret this decision and I wish him the best.

As long as Pucin doesn't post any sort of reference to her earlier article, I guess all is okay with the world. How does such an anti-UCLA person get the L.A. Times UCLA reporter's job, out of curiosity?
