Football kaleidoscope: Everett, Ketchum, Pitre

From UCLA Sports Information:

Wide receivers Marcus Everett and Gavin Ketchum have had their petitions for a substitute year of eligibility due to injury approved. Everett will be a fifth-year senior for the 2008 season while Ketchum will be a fourth-year junior.

Defensive tackle Brigham Harwell’s petition is still pending.

Michael Pitre’s petition was denied. Pitre has hired an agent (Mike Abadir of SAPROS Sports Management) and will be working out in anticipation of the 2008 NFL draft, hoping to be selected or sign as a free agent based on his workouts.
