Equestrian bridge burned

L.A. City Councilman Eric Garcetti said the structure burned in Griffith Park appears to be an equestrian bridge. That appears to be the only structure lost as of 10:30 p.m.

The bridge burned is the Hogback trail bridge. It was dedicated just three years ago on April 29, 2004 to connect the ridge trail across Griffith Park. It cost $174,000, and there were donated services fro the engineering.
