710 southbound lane closures

This release just came across the transom from Caltrans:

IMMEDIATE CLOSURES

FREEWAY LANE AND CONNECTOR CLOSURES   
ON SOUTHBOUND LONG BEACH FREEWAY (I-710)

LYNWOOD TO COMPTON:
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) has closed the three left lanes on southbound Long Beach Freeway (I-710) from the Glenn Anderson Freeway (I-105) to Compton Boulevard for immediate slab repair.  The eastbound and westbound I-105 connectors to southbound I-710 are also closed.  Caltrans expects that these closures will continue until Tuesday morning, October 28, 2008.  Today’s closure began at approximately 12:10 p.m.   

Signed detours are in place to detour motorists onto Long Beach Boulevard, Atlantic Boulevard and Garfield Boulevard.

Caltrans reminds motorists to please ‘Slow for the Cone Zone.”

 

710 closed early Saturday morning for repaving

FREEWAY CLOSURE ALERT -- The 710 freeway is going to be fully closed from 12:01 Saturday until 7 a.m. from the 105 to 91 freeways in both directions for repaving work. It's also closed from 11 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday. Details at Caltrans website, along with detour information for you early morning motorists. --Steve Hymon
