A simply awesome traffic jam, Kabul style
So your Monday morning commute was bad? I count 11 lanes of traffic in this wire service photo taken in Kabul, Afghanistan, in late September. But my favorite part -- if you look hard -- is the lane of diagonal parking over on the right side of the photo. Can you imagine how much fun it would be to back your car out of one of those spaces?
