QUESTION FOR READERS: Hi folks. Is anyone out there having problems viewing the Google map I posted earlier of the location of today's Metrolink crash? I've had a couple of issues in recent weeks with one map subbing for another. I also want to know if Google maps slow down loading of the blog on your computer. Please leave a comment and I'll try to remedy any problems.
Thx, Steve Hymon

The map displays fine, once it loads (which takes up to a minute on my computer).
In general, what slows down my browser most are blogs that insist on keeping their last 50 posts on their front page (ten is much more manageable) and blogs that insist on embedding a YouTube video every other post.
Hope that helps, Steve.

No problems for me. I'm using Google Chrome on XP.

I only see a blank space in the blog where I presume the map should be, using IE 7 and Windows XP. Clicking the link does bring up the Google map ok.

Hi Steve, the map shows up fine in the desktop version of Opera. Unfortunately none of these maps ever show up when I use your blog's feed from my RSS newsreader. I suspect others will have the same problem.
