Fatality on the 101 this morning

The SigAlert on the northbound 101 near Universal City this morning was the result of a fatal accident. A woman, who has yet to be identified, was hit by a car after she apparently walked along the freeway and then sat down in a lane shortly after 5 a.m. Here's a link to the story on our website. The CHP says it remains unclear why she was walking on the freeway.
