Transit tax passes in landslide -- in the blogosphere
The folks at Curbed LA conducted their own "scientific" poll of readers to see if they would go for a half-cent sales tax increase to pay for more mass transit, such as an extended subway.
The results: 509 readers are for it, 64 against. Percentage-wise, that's 88% for and 12% against. If such a tax hike makes the November ballot, it would need two-thirds support to pass.
