Pothole of the week follow-up

Our first winner Will Campbell tell us he has reported the offending pothole to Culver City via the city's online pothole form.

Scottmalsin_2 He subsequently got an e-mail that the city will reply within 10 days. That's June 15 for calendar-inclined readers.

One of the fun byproducts of "pothole of the week" is that it allows me to post the photo(s) of elected officials where said pothole is discovered so we all know who is ultimately responsible for fixing it.

Consider it a civics lesson -- and now you know what Culver City Mayor D. Scott Malsin looks like.

In the same way the Screen Actors Guild Awards has Best Ensemble for film, comedy series and drama series, maybe we need an award for "Best Pothole Ensemble".

I vote for all those potholes on Wilshire Blvd. between Westwood and Beverly Hills which throw me out of my seat every time I ride the 720 bus.

They turn riding the bus into a full contact sport like rugby.
