Foothill Transit in the San Gabriel Valley is also offering free bus rides on June 19. Go to their website to get the coupon; they make you fill out a short survey first.
The agency doesn't have its May ridership numbers yet, but the number of passengers in April was seven percent more than April 2007. And, year-to-date, ridership is up three percent and website traffic has also climbed.
"So even if people haven't quite made the switch to transit, they are certainly thinking about it and investigating their options," said Felicia Friesema, spokeswoman for Foothill Transit.

Great, just the week that I'm in Vegas. Well maybe I'll get to use their wonderful monorail when I'm there. I only hear great things about it, lol.
