$5 gas anyone?
No lines at this gas station on Alameda Street in downtown L.A. near Union Station that often has some of the most expensive gas around town.
There was one gent -- William George -- topping off the tank of his Acura to the tune of $40 before heading back to the San Fernando Valley.
In case you're having a hard time seeing the photo, that's premium for $5.17 a gallon. Regular is a bargain at $4.77!
George said that he was unaware that gas was selling for about 30 cents a gallon cheaper around the corner at a station on Hill Street and said he was tolerating the current gas prices reasonably well, but in perhaps the understatement of the day said "I know things are a lot different than they used to be."

Hi!
Premium is actually $5.07. I drove by there, June 9th, around 5:30pm.
Just thought I'd clear this up.
