We're back ...

The BB took a little break, but we're back. Heads-up on this freeway headache:

The northbound Golden State (5) Freeway off-ramp at Griffith Park Drive in Los Angeles will be closed from 6 a.m. to noon on Sunday, Caltrans announced. Also, the northbound Hollywood (101) Freeway off-ramp at Glendale Boulevard/Echo Park Avenue will be closed Sunday during the same time period. (CNS)

"And apparently it is taking another break. Why can't we get any consistency on this blog? Could it be that the only solution to LA traffic is mass transit, and we all know how the LA Times is always against mass transit, especially a subway under Wilshire."

-----------------

That thought had crossed my mind. We weren't coming up with ways to make life easier for single-occupancy motorists who are wedded to their cars and have a sense of entitlement to a suburban, low-density, automobile-based lifestyle in an urban environment, even in high-density neighborhoods. We were instead discussing alternatives and to bring mass transit to Southern California.

While they "break" could have been due to something as simple as the editors were busy and someone was on leave.

It's unfortunate, because there was so much that happened, in particular with the Expo, Purple (and hopefully someday Pink) Lines, there was a lot we could have discussed.

For whatever reason the blog was down, I'm glad it's back. :)

It was unfortunately you had to go away during this time when we had the Westside Transit Corridor Extension Forums, but am so glad you are back. :)
