'Terror' closes the 57

57 Heads up on this "terror test" that will close the 57 Freeway this morning. It will only be for a few minutes, the O.C. Register reports:

The 57 Freeway will be closed for a few minutes Wednesday morning during a massive security exercise at Angel Stadium. Traffic will be stopped in both directions of the 57 at 9:55 a.m. near Katella Avenue so drivers aren’t distracted by a simulation of a terrorist attack in the stadium parking lot. Pyrotechnics are due to go off to imitate a terrorist explosion. A couple of hundred responders are set to participate Wednesday and Thursday in the “Golden Guardian” event, an annual statewide drill meant to help prepare for a possible disaster or terrorist attack.
