New blog helps 'do the right thing'
The Times has a new blog, Emerald City, about going green in L.A. It features some interesting transportation-related postings including:
- How to get to the Hollywood Bowl without a car.
- Efforts to improve pedestrian life in Santa Monica
- Public hearings on extending the subway to Santa Monica.
- Antonio Banderas 'take Metro' video.
Way to go with the new Emerald City blog! Now if we can only get the good people to rally behind the purple line (a.k.a. Subway to the Sea), we'll be all set for a greener, friendlier, more vibrant LA life!
