Where were all the trucks?
The great truck protest perhaps ended with a whimper. But organizers were still proud of the turnout. They said some drivers could not take part because they got hauls they needed to move. They also said that they got their point across without hurting fellow commuters.

Light-bulb just came on: Forbid single occupant vehicles on the freeways.
This would allow for the efficient movement of goods and services by
trucks. Occupants of single occupant vehicles might have to pair up.
As the swim instructor at the YMCA says: "Use the buddy system."
It is more important for the contents of trucks to get to their destinations
(on-time) than it is for single occupant vehicles to get to their destinations
(on-time). Solution: single occupant vehicles can stop by their friendly neighborhood Home Depot; pick up an illegal day-laborer; transport him to
the closest Home Depot to the single occupant vehicle's destination; drop off the illegal day-laborer. Then, boogie on down the surface to it's destination.
Study is underway to determine impact on MTA/RTD, etc. ridership. Might ask your friendly BRU member.

I thought the point was to interrupt traffic and make people care? The 110 freeway south was completely clear from 8-9am:

and 9-10am today:
