Thief steals car, with boy inside

Another reason not to leave your kid in the car unattended:

Baldwin Park police today sought a man who stole a car with a 5-year-old boy asleep inside and then brought the child back to the neighborhood before fleeing. The boy was reunited with his family a short time after the 6:30 a.m. crime, which occurred in the 3900 block of Filhurst Avenue, said Baldwin Park police Lt. David Reynoso. The boy’s mother described what happened. "My mom was here to pick up my children, and she had the car running," Juana Mendoza told ABC7. (from CNS)
