If you have diabetes and are a dab hand with a video camera, here’s a contest you may want to enter. The nonprofit Diabetes Hands Foundation has announced a ‘Making Sense of Diabetes’ competition for a video--up to three minutes in length--that expresses what it’s like to have diabetes. The organizers are ‘challenging people living with diabetes to visually reveal its impact on their lives through one of the five senses: sight, hearing, taste, touch or smell.’

You have to have diabetes and be 18 or older to enter; entries can be submitted between Monday, Sept. 28, and Nov. 1. Winning videos will be revealed Nov. 14, World Diabetes Day.
