Libyan leader Moammar Kadafi is expected to speak soon on state television.

Kadafi is expected to refute ‘malicious rumors that have been broadcast,’ Libyan state television said, promising to air an interview with the embattled leader.

State television reported earlier Monday that Kadafi would ‘speak soon.’
