EGYPT: Arab League leader urges end to violence in Libya
Arab League Secretary-General Amr Moussa expressed deep concern Monday over continued unrest in Libya, according to Reuters reports.
Moussa urged an immediate end to violence in Libya and called for talks, not confrontation, according to Reuters.
"We are faced with new circumstances in the region, and these circumstances demand dialogue and not confrontation," Moussa said. "We are deeply concerned about the current circumstances in Libya, and we are following the events with deep worry," he added.
