EGYPT: The mood on the street -- literally

As I was walking to an Internet cafe this afternoon, I passed a group of local youths spray painting this image on a busy road in downtown El Arish, the Egyptian coastal town about half an hour from the Egypt-Gaza border.

Thankfully, I took the picture while they were still halfway done. By the time I walked back 20 minutes later, the flag was finished -- complete with a sentiment in English directed toward Israel that can’t be reproduced in a family newspaper.
