Funny man Tim Conway will introduce the tribute to the Screen Actors Guild's 47th annual Lifetime Achievement Award recipient, 94-year-old Ernest Borgnine, during the SAG Awards that will air live at 5 p.m. Sunday on TNT and TBS.
Conway and Borgnine, who won the 1955 lead actor Oscar for "Marty," starred together in the 1962-68 ABC comedy series "McHale's Navy," in which Conway played Ensign Charles Parker and Borgnine was his commander, Quinton McHale. The two became fast friends in real life and have reunited for recurring voice-over roles on "SpongeBob Square Pants," which finds Conway's "Barnacle Boy" playing the role of sidekick yet again to Borgnine's "Mermaid Man."
The two-hour ceremony takes place at the Shrine Exposition Center in L.A.
