How much of vicious ‘Glee’ cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester will Jane Lynch reveal while hosting the Emmys on Sept. 18? Not much, she told The Envelope earlier this month.

‘I think we’ll probably leave her track suit on the Paramount lot,’ she added recently while powwowing with TV critics.

In fact, she’s planning to act much nicer than some other award show hosts have done recently. ‘I really enjoyed Ricky Gervais,’ she said. ‘I don’t have that kind of snarkiness that Ricky has, though. I’m a huge fan of it. I laughed many times at the Golden Globes. But it’s not quite me.’

If she borrows from any award show host, it will probably be Neil Patrick Harris, who scored ace reviews for interacting a lot with the audience while emceeing the recent Tony Awards.

‘My goal is that nobody will cringe,’ she said. ‘Or at least very few people will cringe.’

While celebrating TV’s Golden Girl, Lynch will enlist the sexy assistance of some dancing golden boys, as this new promo from Fox TV reveals.
