Poll: What will win best video at the MTV VMAs?

Mtv video music awards newsThe video of the year award is the equivalent to best picture at the Oscars. It's the coolest kudo you can win at the MTV video awardsfest. Recent victors: Lady Gaga's "Bad Romance" (2010), Beyonce's "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)" (2009) and Britney Spears' "Piece of Me" (2008).

Below is the list of this year's contenders complete with description courtesy of MTV. You can cast your vote for the winner now.

Adele, "Rolling in the Deep" — directed by Sam Brown. Adele showcases her heartbreak in a thumping, plate-smashing display of fury and sadness.

Beastie Boys, "Make Some Noise" — directed by Adam MCA Yauch. The Beastie Boys make a triumphant return in a star-studded look back at past debauchery and their future reality.

Bruno Mars, "Grenade" — directed by Nabil Elderkin. Bruno Mars drags a piano through city streets after a brush with unrequited love.

Katy Perry, "Firework" — directed by Dave Meyers. Katy Perry sparks inner confidence in a colorful burst of fun and flames.

Tyler, the Creator, "Yonkers" — directed by Wolf Haley. Tyler the Creator slips into the director's chair and serves up blurred insight into the mind of his alter ego.
