Poll: Can 'Harry Potter' vanquish 'Twilight' at Teen Choice Awards?
The "Twilight Saga" movies have looked eerily like the undead at the Teen Choice Awards in recent years: Nothing, apparently, could kill them. Not only have various films in the franchise devoured all rivals, but one of them — "Eclipse" — is back competing again this year after sweeping at last year's Teen Choice Awards! Spooky!
No one's tried wielding a wooden stake yet, though — and maybe, just maybe, the intervention of another stick of wood, Harry Potter's wand — might do the trick and defeat them at last?
Last year, "Twilight Saga: Eclipse" competed for best summer movie against some rather lame rivals like "The Last Airbender" and "Knight and Day." Now it competes for best sci-fi/fantasy film against more formidable foes: "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1," "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides," "X-Men: First Class" and "Super 8." Has it finally met its match?
