Disney/Pixar’s Oscar-winning John Lasseter, whose latest film ‘Cars 2’ zoomed to the top of the box office this week, and ‘Harry Potter’ director David Yates are set to be honored at the 20th BAFTA Los Angeles Britannia Awards on Nov. 30 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

Lasseter, who is also chief creative officer for Pixar and Walt Disney Animation, will receive the Britannia Award for Worldwide Contribution to Filmed Entertainment; Yates, who has directed the last four ‘Harry Potter’ movies including the upcoming ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2,’ will receive the John Schlesinger Britannia Award for Excellence in Directing. The British Academy of Film and Television Arts award is named after the late British director who won the 1969 best director Oscar for ‘Midnight Cowboy.’
