NBC ships campaign DVDs to Emmy voters
Universal Media Services has sent its Emmy DVD campaign mailer to the 14,000 members of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. The contents are listed below with episode titles on the web. What's new: Each package contains a code for voters to view additional episodes of TV shows in contention. Showtime pioneered that approach last year and now it's catching on across the industry. Compare this year's DVD campaign mailer to the one UMS sent out last year.
Note: Though Universal Media Services produces mostly NBC programs, it also produces "House M.D." on the Fox network.

Premier comedian, Michael Palascak, energizes the facial muscles of those who have teens, or, adult children, who can't seem to shake off the entitlement mindset. Michael is so entertaining with his ability to say it like it is in a smooth
way.. Great job Michael!!!

I think the episodes they picked for Community are the best to encompass the show, but as far as the best episodes I might have submitted Cooperative Calligraphy and Paradigms of the Human Memory. I also wouldn't have submitted Intermediate Documentary Filmmaking because it might not be evident that their parodying the mockumentry style. Hopefully Community gets nominated, I'll be very mad if it isn't.
From the moment I finished watching Harvest Festival I knew that was going to be one of Parks and Recs submissions but I'm not sure about Flu Season.
I also think 30 Rock should have submitted Double Edged Sword instead of TGS Hates Women.

"Family Practice"?! They don't want that Hugh Laurie wins, obviously.

Of course FNL would submit "Always." Good choice though the penultimate episode "Small Town" was excellent as well, if not better.
It may not have a chance at all, but Outsourced chose its two best episodes and are far better choices than "Andy's Play" and "PDA" are for The Office.
