Daytime Emmy nominations predictions: Debbi Morgan vs. Michelle Stafford for best actress
When the Daytime Emmy nominations are unveiled at 6 a.m. PDT on Wednesday, Nelson Branco (TV Guide Canada) believes the five nominees for best drama actress will be among these six contenders: Susan Flannery ("Bold and the Beautiful"), Katherine Kelly Lang ("Bold and the Beautiful"), Debbi Morgan ("All My Children"), Michelle Stafford ("Young and the Restless"), Laura Wright ("General Hospital") and Colleen Zenk ("As the World Turns").
The winner, he adds, will "more than likely come down between an epic war between Morgan and Stafford."

Laura Wright is the best daytime actress I have ever seen. I am surprised it has taken this long to recognize her.

Laura Wright of General Hospital should win. She's a much better actress.
