Patricia Heaton won twice for ‘Everybody Loves Raymond’ (2000, 2001) and lost five times. She’s never been nominated for ‘The Middle.’ Edie Falco won three times for ‘The Sopranos’ (1999, 2001, 2003) and lost three other contests for that TV series. She also lost for a guest role on ’30 Rock.’

The star who holds the record for going undefeated the most times at the Emmys is Don Knotts, who bagged five trophies as Barney Fife on ‘The Andy Griffith Show’ (1961, 1962, 1963, 1966, 1967).
