Spirit Awards: Natalie Portman wins best female lead

 

Natalie Portman has won the Film Independent Spirit Award for best female lead for her turn as an unhinged ballerina in the psychological thriller “Black Swan.” Portman also will be competing for an Oscar for the role at the 83rd Academy Awards on Sunday.
