Quiz: What was the last film to win three Oscars for acting?

If ‘The King’s Speech’ wins all three of its nominations for acting (Colin Firth, Geoffrey Rush, Helena Bonham Carter), it will become only the third film to do so. ANSWER: ‘On Golden Pond’ and ‘Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?’ won only two Oscars each. ‘Network’ won three in 1976: Peter Finch, Faye Dunaway, Beatrice Straight.
