Oscars: 'God of Love' wins for live action short film
"God of Love" has won the Oscar for live action short film. Luke Matheny, who also directed, wrote and starred in the film, tells the story of a man who acquires some love-inducing darts.
"God of Love" was competing against "The Confession," "The Crush," "Na Wewe" and "Wish 143."
The 83rd Academy Awards are taking place at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood and are being televised live on ABC. We'll carry all the breaking news and reaction here on Awards Tracker.

I’m curious if the Live Action package is up to theatre owners to decide what order it plays, or whether it comes pre-loaded. “God of Love” definitely benefits from being the straight comedy that comes at the end of the package, though I was completely in the minority about its quality (everyone else in my group loved it. Me, not so much). Went with a group of five this weekend and we were all completely perplexed by the choice of the U2-Hutu joke…just a crazy way to end that short. We all loved Wish 143 – seriously hoping that one wins.
