City of Lights, City of Angels festival celebrates its 15th year

Los Angeles’ premiere French film festival, City of Lights, City of Angels, celebrates its 15th year beginning April 11 at the Directors Guild of America.

Though the lineup for the festival hasn’t been announced, it was confirmed Thursday that noted writer-director Bertrand Blier (‘Get Out Your Handkerchiefs’) is the Focus on Filmmaker honoree. Not only will his 2010 film ‘The Clink of Ice’ screen at the festival, the veteran filmmaker will be participating in person at the Happy Hour Talks following a screening of his earlier film, ‘Cold Cuts.’
