SAG Awards: Claire Danes eyes Sofia Vergara's prime real estate
After winning a SAG award for her portrayal of Temple Grandin in the HBO movie of the same name, an extremely composed but tired-looking Claire Danes emerged from a photo tent and was asked to autograph the four Screen Actors Guild posters that all winners are requested to sign. The posters -- which feature a large image of the green award statue -- are then auctioned off for charity. Proceeds go to the SAG Foundation for actors in need.
While signing the poster with a Sharpie, Danes remarked, "Somebody got prime real estate."
"That was Sofia Vergara," replied a member of the awards staff, referring to the "Modern Family" actress.
Where did Vergara sign? On the oft-remarked upon bulging crotch of the statue.
"She did it on all four posters!" said another staff member.

Somehow I think Claire Danes has passed the days of crotch signatures. Maybe it was soon after "My So Called Life" wrapped.
