Golden Globes: Christian Bale meets Temple Grandin

As A-listers streamed out of the ballroom -- Scarlett Johansson, a somewhat weary-looking Halle Berry -- Christian Bale stopped amid them all, suddenly starstruck.

‘You’re a genius’ he said, shaking hands vigorously with Temple Grandin, the real-life autistic scientist played by Claire Danes in the HBO biopic.

‘It’s a wonderful night’ he told an interviewer. ‘You gotta respect this kind of attention. But she,’ he pointed to Grandin again. ‘She’s the genius.’
