The Art Directors Guild has named Emmy Award-winners Bill Taylor, ASC and Syd Dutton as this year’s recipients of the guild’s honorary Outstanding Contribution to Cinematic Imagery Award.

According to the ADG, the award is given to “an individual whose body of work in the film industry has richly enchanced the visual aspects of the movie-going experience.” Past recipients have included Warren Beatty, Clint Eastwood, Terry Gilliam and Ray Harryhausen.

They are also co-founders of Illusion Arts, which has provided visual effects for nearly 200 films.

Taylor and Dutton will receive their honor at the Art Directors Guild Awards on Feb. 5 at the International Ballroom of the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
