"What's your feeling about the whole awards game?" I ask Christian Bale ("The Fighter") as I dish with him about most pundits saying he'll win the Oscar for supporting actor.

"I think it's very flattering that people are even considering me for an award," he replies. "That's wonderful. I'm human, of course. I love it if people like this performance."
