AFI festival adds to its lineup

November 3, 2010 |  2:33 pm

The AFI Fest 2010 on Wednesday announced its complete lineup of special presentations, including three new events just added to the program.

"Cinema's Legacy with Screenwriter Aaron Sorkin," Sunday afternoon at the Egyptian Theatre, includes a Q&A with Sorkin ("The Social Network") and a screening of the 1976 classic "All the President's Men."

"On Acting: A Conversation with Halle Berry,"  Nov. 7 at the Grauman's Chinese Theatre,  features the "Monster's Ball" Oscar-winner talking about her career and previewing clips from her latest film, "Frankie & Alice," a drama about a woman with multiple personalities.

"Secret Screening, " set for Nov. 9 at the Chinese, promises to be an upcoming major Hollywood release. AFI organizers are keeping the selection, well, a secret, until that morning.

Rounding out the special programs will be one from the L.A. Times -- "Los Angeles Times Roundtable: Young Hollywood with Carey Mulligan, Jesse Eisenberg and Andrew Garfield," hosted by the Times' Amy Kaufman, Friday at the Egyptian Theatre, and "3D Bootcamp -- Presented by the Sony 3D Technology Center and Featuring a Preview of 'Tron: Legacy," Nov. 10 at the Chinese.
