David Rockwell will return as production designer for the 82nd Academy Awards, according to producers Bill Mechanic and Adam Shankman. Rockwell's firm, the Rockwell Group, designed the Kodak Theatre where the ceremony has taken place since 2002, as well as the 81st Academy Awards. His work on Broadway includes the set design for such hit shows as "Hairspray," "Legally Blonde," and "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels," as well as the upcoming "Catch Me If You Can" and "Elf."
The 82nd Academy Awards will take place at the Kodak Theatre on March 7.
