'New Moon' vampires (and screenwriter) descend on Rome Film Festival
Rome became the center of the "New Moon" universe Thursday when the film's screenwriter, Melissa Rosenberg, and the three young actors who play members of the Volturi vampire coven -- Charlie Bewley (Demetri), Cameron Bright (Alec) and Jamie Campbell Bower (Caius) -- appeared on the appropriately red carpet to present a 20-minute preview of the sequel to "Twilight" at the 4th International Rome Film Festival. Tickets for the event were sold out in just a few hours, and fans braved a torrential downpour to catch a glimpse of the talent.
"New Moon" will enjoy its U.S. premiere Nov. 20.
