The Contenders: Meet Tatiana Del Toro
"American Idol" Season 8 gossiped-about girl Tatiana Del Toro auditioned in San Francisco, although she's from another "Idol" audition city: San Juan, Puerto Rico. She promised that she could be "the greatest artist that you have ever seen". Although that seems like a stretch, she did get approval from (most of) the panel with "Never Loved a Man" by Aretha Franklin. Although Simon rejected her as "very dramatic" and didn't cave even with all her begging, Randy said she was "wild", and he liked it, and the girls went for it too. In her statement-making mermaid style dress Tatiana Del Toro laughed her way to Hollywood.
The 23-year-old singer/actor/model and drama queen has been getting a lot of buzz because of her colorful personality. The drama only got more intense in Hollywood, when group work didn't exactly go smoothly for the self-centered star. But again, after all, Tatiana Del Toro made it through. We can't wait to see what theatrics she brings to "Idol" next!

I quit watching American Idol after Tatiana didn't make the top 3; American Idol is becoming too "country western" for me -2 of the top 3 were country western - the little blond looked like a min Dolly Pardon . . . country western singers have their own talent show, there shouldn't be so many on American Idol!
