'Idol'-less inauguration planned; Jennifer Hudson will not perform
Contrary to rumors circulating last week, Jennifer Hudson will not be performing at the presidential inauguration. The rumor mill had stirred hopes that the event would bring Hudson back to the stage for the first time since the tragic slayings of her family members. However, a representative for the Season 3 contender has put an end to the scuttlebutt, telling Access Hollywood: "There is no truth to this." Idol Nation continues to wait for the return of one of its great heroines. ...
There is however, much truth to the rumor that David Archuleta will be singing at another inaguration: the re-swearing-in of Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman Jr. The Chosen One, who has become a fairly prolific blogger over on his MySpace page, shared his anticipation about the event this morning:
Today I'll be singing at Utah's Governor Huntsman's inauguration, and even though it's FREEZING... it should be a good time. I actually sang at the Governor Huntsman's inauguration the first time lol. But yeah. It's actually so hard to sing when it's cold! I tend to lose my voice in cold weather, and I must be cold-blooded because I just don't do well with low temperatures.
We will be posting video and reports as soon as they become available from the snows of Salt Lake.

so Sorry to hear that Ms. Hudson, has declined the honor. I bet her mother would have been so proud of her on that day as well as her brother and nephew. Now they won't have the chance to be remembered as well at such an Historical Event. The strength of her fans is what will be very healing to and for her. Jennifer, the people love you very much and we are waiting to help you heal. We shared in your grief and stand ready to help you heal. You must trust in yourself again and know that you can do this. Yous should be able to lift your head towards the sky and "Sing to and for your Lost Loved Ones on that day. Just a thought from someone who has been exactly where you are. I lost my mother back in Dec 97 in Brooklyn New York, and the circumstances were not pleasant at all. It left my two sisters and I in a tail spend, because it was very sudden. My daughters came to my job early on a Monday morning bearing the bad news, just as I was about to call my mother and chat with her as we did everyday. One year later one of my sisters died from heart break. Now there is only two of us left. I am a Minister, and i found that i had to keep doing what i was called to do because that is his purpose for me in this life. It is a gift that he gave and it must be shared. Your voice is silenced but its not his will that it be so. Please use the gift and talent that He has given to you for the healing of a nation. Love you, yours in Christ.

I'm glad Jennifer Hudson isn't performing. I can't stand her and there are much better artists who could be asked than her.....
