Kelly Clarkson: The return
The prodigal Idol Kelly Clarkson has announced her return to the music world. According to her website, Clarkson's new single "My Life Would Suck Without You" will be released upon a joyous Idol Nation on Jan. 19.
The reporters at Rollingstone.com got an advance preview of a few songs and described them as "totally awesome," writing, "the new album is stocked with primo pop hits reminiscent of 'Breakaway.' "
Clarkson's last outing was plagued with troubles, leading to a public feud with Idol songmaster Clive Davis and a canceled tour. Since then she has parted company with Davis and been working with manager Narvel Blackstock, who is also the husband of Reba McIntyre -- a development which led many to predict that Clarkson would follow the lucrative trail blazed by other Idols into country. Rolling Stone's report would seem to put an end to that talk, confirming that the original American Idol will be returning to the pop roots which made her first two albums the bar for Idols since.

I'm really looking forward to Kelly's new album. I have loved every album she's released so far so I'm excited. One thing though, Kelly and Clive haven't parted ways. It was Kelly and her former manager Jeff Kwatinetz that parted ways.

I am really excited about her new single coming out and her new album. I think the work is so ready for her return to the commerical pop radio world! The problem with the last album was the record label did not back up the album to prove a point, and unfortuanately when the label does back you up and do their promotions, an album wont go no where.. SO that in the PAST I think Kelly Clarkson will definately make her POP Come back!!! YAAAAHHH..

Kelly, I'm glad you are returning to your POP roots. When are you people going to learn, you aren't ROCK stars, and besides ROCK is dead, POP is forever!

I can't wait for her new album !
I love all of them but my favorite is definitely My December.
This one's supposedly more like Breakaway, so it'll probably be more popular.
I'm just so excited !
Her voice and music is absolutely AMAZING.
And PS Don, chyeah. she is going to take the world by storm. even more than she already has.
