I have become all to aware of these maps --living in Big Ten country has doomed me to watching whatever low-scoring Big Ten snore fest happens to be airing at the same time the rest of the country gets an interesting game.
I've always been curious about the harder-to-explain coverage choices --like the Omaha-region... is Warren Buffett an Irish fan?
Aaron: I believe they're available somewhere on the ESPN/ABC websites. I used to know where, but now I have GamePlan.
You happen to have one of these for this week's game? Am I going to be able to see the game out here in Virginia? By the way, great blog Adam. This is Aaron Garrett formerly of the Trojan Debate Squad.
Ahhh, all the TDS love! Jed uploaded some old photos on Facebook a couple weeks ago. Forgot I grew out my sideburns one year!
The game's national on Fox, so there's no coverage map. Here's some info I got from their spokesperson:
"The USC game is national, so the local Fox regional sports network should have it. If they don’t have a Fox regional sports network on their system, then yes, they would need to go to a bar or restaurant that has the extra sports package."
I am in central Virginia and the USC/WSU game is listed on Comcast Sports Network. I think most local cable providers carry CSN, so check your listings!
Adam Rose learned about the highs and lows of USC athletics while going to school. As a freshman, he watched the football team crash to the bottom of the Pac 10. By the time he was a senior, he was in the stands for a National Championship. In between, he liked to argue points as a member of the Trojan Debate Squad. Nowadays, he's just looking to tell a good story. He is currently Sports Editor for LAist, where he covers a wide range of local action. He can also be seen weekly on KNBC 4's News Raw. Adam manages special events in the sports community when he isn't participating himself (he staggered through the LA Marathon and can often be found on local soccer fields). If you have a question about the Trojans or just want to give him a piece of your mind, email: adam@laist.com.
where do you find information like this? i'm always looking to find regional football schedules

Aaron, check ESPN's website. They usually release the maps on Wednesday afternoon.
Looks like this week's doesn't get ESPN/ABC coverage at all, though.
(from a Trojan in DC, also briefly on the TDS)
