Trojans in the NFL: Week 5

Mattcassel Matt Cassel (QB, New England) set career highs in just about every passing category with 22 completions on 32 attempts, 259 yards and a long of 66 for a touchdown. On the flip side, he had two passes intercepted and was sacked five times (also career highs). The Pats rolled, 30-21, over San Francisco.

Mike Patterson (DT, Philadelphia) matched a career high with 10 tackles in a 23-17 loss to Washington.

Carson Palmer (QB, Cincinnati) is back from injury and almost led the woeful Bengals to a comback this week. He finished 23 of 39 for 217 yards, two touchdowns and one interception. Cincinnati lost to Dallas, 31-22.

Keith Rivers (LB, Cincinatti) made three tackles, ran an interception (first of his career) back 39 yards and forced a fumble in the loss to Dallas.

Lawrence Jackson (DE, Seattle)
made five tackles in a 44-6 loss to the New York Giants.

Steve Smith (WR, NY Giants) made catches of 19 and 8 yards in the victory over Seattle.

Frostee Rucker (DE, Cincinatti) made two tackles and forced a fumble in the loss to Dallas.

Shaun Cody (DT, Detroit) made four tackles in a 34-7 loss to Chicago.

Troy Polamalu (S, Pittsburgh) had four tackles in a 26-21 victory over Jacksonville.

Lofa Tatupu (LB, Seattle) made four tackles in the loss to the Giants.

Sammy Knight (DB, NY Giants) made three tackles in the victory over the Seahawks.

LaJuan Ramsey (DT, Indianapolis) had three tackles in a 31-27 victory over Houston.

LenDale White (RB, Tennessee) carried three times for four yards and made one reception for no gain in a 13-10 victory over Baltimore.

Keary Colbert (WR, Seattle) made a 10-yard reception in the loss to the Giants.

Dwayne Jarrett (WR, Carolina) hasn't played since Week 2. ESPN's fantasy football gurus ask, "Is he still on this team? More importantly ... is he still on yours? Why?"

Monday Night Football: Reggie Bush, Sedrick Ellis (out 2-4 weeks with a medial meniscus tear), Billy Miller and the Saints welcome John David Booty and the Vikings.
