Still can't win the small one

A few days after a falling apart against a lowly Stanford team last season, Pete Carroll told reporters, "The wins go away. The wins really do float off somewhere, no matter how stunning or dramatic or dominant they are. They go away. The losses don't go away. Fortunately, we haven't had as many of them over the years -- or I wouldn't be able to think straight!"

So even though it was an impressive victory last night over the Oregon Ducks, Carroll still had something gnawing at him -- last week's loss to Oregon State:
