USC vs. Ohio State: Kind of a big deal

We've got awhile until Sept. 13, when USC welcomes Ohio State to the Coliseum. Except for the Trojans, the rest of the top 17 teams in America have games scheduled next weekend -- including the Buckeyes. Who cares? Forget 'em! They mean nothing! Look at what CBS Sportsline has on its main college football page:

It wouldn't be strange to have a 12-day countdown clock to the first game of the season. But for week three? Then again, many people consider this the only game that counts for either school until January.
