Parting Shots: Virginia
I'm still learning how to take full advantage of our super-secret archives, where we used to keep some of the best game-day photography under wraps. No more! Here are a few extra images from L.A. Times photographer Luis Sinco that deserve to see the light of day. Enjoy!

I have just finished reading an article describing SC's line as trim and more mobile. It's a wonder that it took the coaching staff this long to look back on Nebraska's fine offensive lines under Tom Osborne. No excess weight on those young men. They were as fit as their running backs and proved their worth by regularly running for 400 yards a game, win after win. True, they let the passing game get beyond them and that type of 3 yards and a cloud of dust attack has been eclipsed by the spread offense but, to combine a fit line on both sides of the ball to run and combat the spread only makes good sense.
I am not a USC fan as a rule but, I do admire the way the program is run.
